Job Description
Position Overview: Fort Lauderdale Glass Company is looking for an experienced commercial glazing project manager. Ideal candidate must be familiar with the Fabricating and Installation of entrances, storefront, curtain wall and all aspect of glass and glazing systems. Ideal candidate must be willing to accept FULL responsibility of all areas relating to the projects.

Ideal candidate must be willing to accept FULL responsibility of all areas relating to the projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze architectural drawings, interpret specifications, make material take-offs, obtain quotes from suppliers and provide detailed proposals.
- Review and analyze bid packages and contracts and oversee projects to completion.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of projects.
- Must be able to procure and track RFI’s when needed.
- Strong skills using excel spreadsheets and formulas.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, architects and customers.
- Order Materials, creates P.O.s
- AIA Billing
- Meet project schedule
- Other related duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
- 8 years + experience in the glass and glazing industry.
- Applicant must have the ability to extract all key data from architectural and structural blueprints and specifications and perform complete window and door take-offs.
- Experience in executing and managing glass and glazing projects that include curtain walls, store fronts and entrances from beginning to end.
- Experience in AutoCAD preferred but not required.
- Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Office (especially Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat PDF documents, GDS and QuickBooks.
- Must Possess a Valid Driver’s License
- Current Safety & OSHA Certifications preferred
- Must be able to pass drug screening if required
